CHES Foundation (Community Health, Education, and Support) is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the health, education, and overall well-being of underserved and vulnerable populations across Nigeria and beyond. Rooted in the belief that the art of medicine is incomplete without compassion for humanity, CHES Foundation combines clinical excellence with a strong humanitarian ethos. Through its wide range of initiatives, spanning free medical outreach, HIV surveillance, mental health services, substance abuse rehabilitation, and educational empowerment, the foundation has made a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

Our work also includes targeted efforts in epidemiology and disease surveillance, particularly in rural and underserved areas, where early detection and community-based reporting systems are critical to preventing health crises. CHES conducts routine data-driven health assessments and collaborates with public health authorities to support evidence-based decision-making, including during outbreaks and emergencies.

A key aspect of our intervention involves connecting drug addicts, individuals with mental health conditions, and people at risk of or living with HIV to government-backed rehabilitation services and medical support. Through our partnerships and field networks, CHES acts as a bridge between marginalized individuals and essential social and healthcare resources, facilitating access to psychiatric care, addiction recovery centers, HIV prevention and treatment programs, and counseling services. We have successfully reintegrated many individuals back into society, supporting their journey from crisis to recovery with dignity and empathy.

In addition, CHES is deeply invested in educational restoration programs, particularly for school dropouts. We identify out-of-school children and adolescents, provide mentorship and basic educational support, and work closely with schools and local authorities to reintegrate them into the formal education system. By doing so, we empower the next generation with the tools they need to build better futures.

CHES Foundation’s credibility and reach are strengthened by strategic collaborations with respected institutions such as the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA)—a United Nations-recognized body with ECOSOC Special Consultative Status; the Word Bridge Initiative in San Francisco, USA; the Daniella Alaribe Foundation; Webdeves Academy, a hub for inclusive digital education; and the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA). Together, these alliances enhance our reach and multiply our impact.

In recognition of our transformative work, CHES Foundation received the Bridge Africa Technologies (BAT) Award in 2023, honoring innovation, social impact, and excellence in community health advancement. This recognition is a testament to the vision and leadership of our founder, whose dedication continues to inspire action across sectors.
