We’ll be making it a special day for the students at Family Support Programme Secondary School\, Katsina state. \n \nThis year’s children’s day will be celebrated with the Katsina state’s children in mind. The project seeks to emphasize on the importance of education and to encourage many hardworking students in the north on the need to put efforts to succeed in their academics. \n \n  \nEducation is a tool that can be utilized to brighten one’s future and CHES Foundation will be investing in these children by challenging them to give in their best. \n \n  \nThis event on the 27th of May 2024 will feature fun games\, career talks\, talent exhibition\, education seminar and quiz competitions for the kids! DESCRIPTION:In line with the objectives of CHES Empowerment Foundation\, Nigeria to create an enabling society for national development\, through community empowerment in diverse areas like health and education\, we will be partnering with Young Catholic Students of Nigeria (YCS)\, Diocese of Aba and Rotary club of Gregory university\, Uturu to host a championship “Spelling Bee Tournament”. \n\n\n\nTheme: “The Championship Spirit”\n\n\n\n\n\nThis drive is an effort to empower the next generation through education\, by investing actively and encouraging education. \n\n\n\nSpelling bee competitions have become an avenue to encourage and support children with excellent spelling abilities. This time\, in addition to the spelling bee competition\, our facilitators and resource persons would be taking these amazing students on how to overcome stage fright and speak with confidence while addressing large crowds. This package has been added to the competition in order to prepare these students for the real world outside school and imbue them with the championship spirit to address help them advance in the public space. \n\n\n\nCHES Empowerment Foundation\, Nigeria promises to keep supporting and creating an avenue for advancement in the community at large. Based on this we will be unveiling some of our projects in the coming months\, but for now\, Think CHES!
